Bosque en el Cielo
This beautiful designed 3 bedroom, 3-bathroom octagonal villa has a big open cooking and living room area. The two downstairs guestrooms with bathrooms have small private terraces to enjoy the view of the lush green mountain in the back of the house. Over a stone staircase the upstairs octagonal master bedroom can be reached. The house is kept cool by its strategic placement on a hilltop to catch the cooling ocean breezes and by airy interior spaces open to the roof. High ceilings accomplish natural ventilation with vents that allow the air to circulate constantly trough-out the house.
The sitting area in the living room looks out on the tiled 3200-sft terrace with an infinity edge swimming pool with small waterfall. On the side of the terrace is a thatched roof rancho with a built-in barbeque area. Deep eaves around the house give lots of shade for the afternoon nap in one of the hammocks.
This 30-acre secluded private mountain top retreat sits on a lofty hilltop at an elevation of 350m or 1150 feet overlooking the ocean. The house features dramatic 180-degree views of the south pacific coast from Manuel Antonio National Park in the North to Cano Island in the south. The property has small foot trails through the lush rain forest and a small waterfall with a refreshing freshwater pool.
Among the daily visitors are Toucans and tucanets, various kinds of parrots, hummingbirds, white eagles, falcons, wild turkeys white face monkeys, and lots more.
Bosque del Cielo is reached by an unpaved (4-weel recommended) 2.5km long road through green forests. Pickup will be arranged from nearby Dominical. The villa is close to Dominical (10min) and is only 20km away from Quepos with daily flights to San Jose.
The usual amenities include air-condition and ceiling fans, a 30 inch gas cook top, a large fridge with freezer, a large stainless steel gas grill and a washer and dryer.
Tours to nearby activities can be arranged … Waterfall-tours, horsbackriding, surfing lessons, kayaking, diving and snorkeling trips to Cano island and fishing trips.

Jan16th-April30th and July1st-Aug31th:US $385/night
High Season $4600 per week.
Long term stays in the time between May and End of November can be arranged.
Cooking services for breakfast and dinner can be arranged for USD 75,- per day and person. |
